
Ever thought of making homemade nut butter for your family. It’s super easy and you get to control the amount of salt and sugar you add.
Nuts are a good source of healthy fats, plant protein, and minerals. You can choose from a variety of nuts and make a different one each time.
Ingredients:
3 cups raw almonds/pecans/cashews
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 tablespoons maple syrup or honey
Pinch of salt (add to taste)
How To:
Grind the nuts up in a high powered blender till rich and creamy. Mix in the vanilla extract, maple syrup/ honey, cinnamon, and salt.
Enjoy with sourdough toast or with apple slices as a snack.
The nut butter can be stored in mason jars in the fridge for 3-4 weeks
